  • Avoid eating 1.5 hours before your session

  • Wear comfortable waist line clothes

  • Women on moon cycle: consider refraining from wearing tampon to breathe with greater pelvic floor awareness

Additional Online Zoom Session Instructions 

  • Select a room/area of house where you have total privacy to express 

  • Stack 2 or 3 large pillows for upper body and neck support

  • Point laptop/iPhone camera down toward your head and torso (see photo). I need to see your face, to your upper thighs

    • Tip: elevate camera above body using chair, stacked books, coffee table

  • OPTIONAL: blue tooth speaker/earbuds for better music/instruction audio quality

  • As you breathe, remember to bring 'the substance of your feeling awareness' to the heart region -- aka feel loving awareness, 'soft inner smile' in the heart region/between back of heart and spine

  • No pauses between inhales and exhales. During each slightly extended exhale, feel a slight pressure on the backside of your heart in your chest (activates parasympathetic nervous system via dorsal vagal nerve at the back of chest/thoracic cavity)

  • In the beginning, all breath rates are created equal so don't effort to aim for a fast or slow HRV rate
